WWE seems to be going all in on CM Punk. Despite setbacks, the company has pushed the polarizing superstar to the top since his surprise comeback in November 2023. Now that the RAW-Netflix era is moving forward and Punk has healed, all signs point to him being a massive part of main event plans.

The Voice of The Voiceless shocked the wrestling world when he made his comeback with AEW in 2021. Punk's controversial run ended two years later when he was fired by Tony Khan, which paved the way for his return to World Wrestling Entertainment. The 46-year-old was injured not long after returning, but since then, he's worked closely with rising NXT Superstars and managed to keep himself relevant while on the shelf.

WWE has booked Punk strong since returning from injury. He won a brutal feud over Drew McIntyre, helped The OG Bloodline win WarGames, and continued a heated rivalry with Seth Rollins. The veterans faced off on Monday's RAW Netflix premiere, and Punk won the 19-minute main event. The historic RAW episode went off the air shortly after 11 PM with a jovial Punk looking on, all smiles, while taunting his fallen opponent.

The WWE Universe was buzzing and speculating heavily on Tuesday when the company shared a photo of Punk from the end of RAW. The post does not include a caption, but based on fan responses, no caption was needed to convey the message that WWE is all in on CM Punk once again.

Punk is rumored to play a major role at WrestleMania 41, with Roman Reigns being one rumored opponent. Sources revealed this week that the former AEW World Champion was originally set to face Rollins on The Grandest Stage of Them All, but the match was moved to Monday's RAW's Netflix premiere. It remains to be seen when Punk vs. Rollins will happen again.

CM Punk confirmed for the WWE Royal Rumble

Several top WWE Superstars are now official for the upcoming Royal Rumble PLE. John Cena's role at the big event has also been confirmed.

LA Knight was the first superstar to declare his spot in next month's 30-Man Royal Rumble main event, but Monday's RAW post-show saw Jey Uso and CM Punk announce their entry.

Cena was previously confirmed for the PLE, but it wasn't clear what match he'd work in. The Cenation leader revealed during Monday's RAW that he will compete in his final Royal Rumble Match. He is listed as unaffiliated with any brand.
