Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell recently speculated Roman Reigns might reach another major milestone in his historic title reign.
The Tribal Chief won the Universal Championship at Payback 2020. Since then, he has been on a tear, running through all challengers. He defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. With a run spanning over 1200 days, Roman Reigns has etched his name in the history books alongside all-time greats such as Pedro Morales, Hulk Hogan, Bob Backlund, and Bruno Sammartino.
This week on Smack Talk, Mantell felt that WWE had long-term plans for Roman's historic title reign. The wrestling veteran mentioned that the company might aim for The Tribal Chief to break Hulk Hogan's long-standing record of 1474 days as WWE Champion.
"Okay, I think Roman, what are they shooting for day-wise? Are they shooting for Hulk's record? I looked it up today, 1400-something days," Mantell said. [From 17:30 onward]

Last week on SmackDown, Roman Reigns and the rest of The Bloodline stopped the Triple Threat match featuring AJ Styles, LA Knight, and Randy Orton by attacking all three men.
This led to SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis's decision that Reigns would defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against all three men in a Fatal Four-Way match at Royal Rumble.
