SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis recently visited a wrestling school where former WWE star Alicia Fox keeps in shape. Aldis shared a photo of his visit while also hiding the identity of a supposedly current WWE Superstar.
In a post on his official Instagram account, Aldis shared that he visited Hatchet Pro Wrestling in Jacksonville. He had gone there with Bryon Saxton and was joined by Fox, as well as the students of the wrestling school. He gave an update on the former WWE Superstar, who is reportedly staying in ring shape despite her release from the company.
"As #SmackDown was in #Jacksonville, FL this week, I stopped by Hatchet Pro Wrestling in St Augustine to see how the current class was progressing - a lot of potential there! @thefoxxyone has been staying sharp here, and @officialbyronsaxton stopped by too. If you want to get into this business and are serious about learning in a clean, organized professional environment with great coaching, the next beginner's course starts July 9th - go to hatchetprowrestling.com or follow @hatchetprowrestling," Aldis wrote.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
In the image shared by Nick Aldis, one of the wrestlers in the ring had his face covered with an emoji. Several fans in the comments section deduced that it was likely Dexter Lumis, who has been absent on WWE television for more than a year now.
Lumis was recently rumored to be part of The Wyatt 6 along with Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, Alexa Bliss and Uncle Howdy, reported to be Bo Dallas. The fans noticed that the man behind the emoji had the same tattoos as Lumis.
One possible explanation for hiding his face could be to conceal a possible new look for his debut for The Wyatt 6. However, these are just speculations at this point although there have been a lot of signs and clues over the past few weeks.
It should also be pointed out that Lumis was seen sporting a beard in one of his posts on Instagram. He's the guy second to left wearing a Hawaiian shirt in between former WWE superstars Kenneth Cameron (Bram) and Alicia Fox in the image below.
AJ Styles to meet with Nick Aldis next week on WWE SmackDown
Next week's episode of SmackDown will be held in Saudi Arabia, with AJ Styles looking for his next opponent. The Phenomenal One is on a losing streak after failing to defeat Cody Rhodes at WWE Backlash: France and Randy Orton in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament.
Styles told Byron Saxton that he wanted to meet with Nick Aldis to discuss what was next for him. He stated that he needed some form of direction after losing some momentum after back-to-back defeats.
AJ Styles and Nick Aldis have history together since the time they were former TNA World Champions. Aldis, known as Magnus then, took over the main event scene in the company after Styles left in 2013.
