WWE seemingly spoiled a major title match tonight at WWE Crown Jewel. The premium live event aired live from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Gunther battled in the main event of Crown Jewel 2024. The bout was for the Crown Jewel Championship, which was introduced by Triple H last month at Bad Blood.

Rhodes connected with a Cross Rhodes during the match, but the 39-year-old was too exhausted to make a cover. The Ring General responded with a massive Powerbomb, but somehow Cody Rhodes was able to kick out at the last moment. Gunther caught Rhodes in a Sleeper Hold, but The American Nightmare was able to counter into a cover for the pinfall victory to win the Crown Jewel Championship.

In a graphic shown during the premium live event, The American Nightmare was seemingly shown with two titles on his shoulders. The graphic was shown before the match took place, seemingly spoiling the result. Triple H currently serves as the company's Chief Content Officer for the promotion.

Liv Morgan captured the Women's Crown Jewel Championship by defeating Nia Jax at the premium live event as well. Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan celebrated with Triple H in the final moments of Crown Jewel 2024.
