A current WWE star recently claimed that company executives like Triple H and Nick Khan are not fond of him. Ethan Page made the revelation after a surprising interaction with another authority figure, The Rock.

On Tuesday's special episode of NXT called New Year's Evil, All Ego was arguing with general manager Ava. The Final Boss then entered the office, stared down Page before putting him over. Rocky also said that he expected Page to be called up to the main roster.

After the segment, WWE's cameras caught up with Page and asked him about his thoughts on The Rock. He mentioned NXT boss Shawn Michaels, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, and WWE President Nick Khan, claiming they didn't like his work. However, the former NXT Champion was satisfied to get the approval of The Great One.

Page also dropped one of Rocky's most iconic catchphrases at the end of the video.

Will John Cena beat Ric Flair's record? A former WCW Champion thinks so HERE

"You know, Shawn Michaels? Not a fan. Triple H, not a fan. Nick Khan, I’m assuming [he’s] not a fan. The Final Boss seems to get what I got going on. Hell, he even said I had a sweet a**. I guess we could say that The Final Boss smells what Ethan Page is cooking," Page said.

The Rock is a member of the Board of Directors of TKO Group Holdings, Inc. For those unaware, TKO is the parent company of both WWE and UFC.

Triple H teases fans about what to expect from John Cena's farewell tour

John Cena kicked off his farewell tour by appearing on WWE RAW's debut on Netflix this week. Cena announced that he would be participating in the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble match and was looking to win it. He seemed determined to end his losing streak, as well as break Ric Flair's record for most world titles.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, Triple H recently explained how fans would get to enjoy Cena's final year as an active WWE Superstar.

"He'll make select premium live events, he's gonna wrestle a lot, he's going to perform a lot and then it's sort of a one calendar year thing." [H/T: WrestlingInc.]
