WWE's booking of Sheamus has been all over the place since his return in April 2024. The Irishman appears to be open to a fight, irrespective of who is on the other side. Some of RAW's rising stars have put a target on his back. Guys such as Bron Breakker, Ludwig Kaiser, and Bronson Reed, to name a few.

Last week's episode saw Reed pick up a win over The Celtic Warrior's former stablemate, Pete Dunne. Post-match, Sheamus saved the Pete from a beatdown by the 330-pound wrestler. However, Dunne refused to celebrate with his former leader and walked out on the latter.

A match between Sheamus and Bronson Reed was booked for this week's show. The two had a backstage confrontation prior to Reed's match against Pete Dunne. After the Irishman got involved in Reed's business last week, it seems the Australian is looking to put the veteran in his place:

"B̶a̶n̶g̶e̶r̶ WAR #WWERAW," Bronson Reed wrote on Instagram.

The interesting angle here is Pete Dunne's ambiguous move. The Brawling Brutes is no more, but that is yesterday's news. Does the Englishman have undisclosed issues with Sheamus?

Sheamus reveals injury happened during one of his favorite WWE matches in 2023

In August 2023, Sheamus gave Adam 'Edge' Copeland the WWE Hall of Famer's final match on SmackDown. Afterwards, he was off television. This led to the eventual split of his faction, The Brawling Brutes.

Regarding his match with Edge, the Irishman stated on WWE Retrospective recently that it is one of his favorites. However, his neck injury happened during the contest. It took place in The Rated-R Superstar's home country of Canada:

"Something happened to me in there where my neck got messed up, which obviously led to me being out for a long time. So during this whole process here, I'm kinda going through a lot of pain, but it's still one of my favorite moments, man. This was awesome," Sheamus said.
