WWE United States Champion Logan Paul has a huge target on his back. The Maverick has LA Knight breathing down his neck for the US title.

Knight will be in a Money in the Bank Triple Threat qualifying match next week on SmackDown. The encounter will also feature Santos Escobar and his long-time rival Logan Paul. The show will be emanating from the world-famous Madison Square Garden in New York City.

This week on SmackDown LowDown, Knight told WWE correspondent Byron Saxton that he was looking to win the qualifier next week and then head straight to the Money in the Bank match. He even declared that once he got hold of the briefcase, he would be cashing it on Logan Paul.

"Everything that you put in tonight, everything that you put in tonight, just realize the fact that you didn't finish the job. Realize the fact that you should have and the fact that you didn't is your biggest mistake. Because now I beat you next week, I got to Money in the Bank, I get the case and then I'm coming for you. And then the US title, everything that I want, everything that you love, then becomes mine. Why? Because I made it that way." [From 2:21 - 2:45]

Logan Paul ambushed LA Knight on SmackDown

This week on SmackDown, LA Knight called out the United States Champion. When he didn't show up, Knight called him a chicken.

However, Santos Escobar walked out to confront The Megastar. He spoke about his chances of winning the Money in the Bank qualifier. Just as the exchange between the two was heating up, Logan Paul sneaked in on LA Knight from behind.

He decked Knight with the One Lucky Punch, knocking him out. The US Champ then proceeded to trash-talk Knight in the ring as he lay down groaning in pain from the aftereffects of the attack.
