A WWE star made her return during tonight's Premium Live Event in a new role. This star was expected to be out of action for around a year, but the company has obviously made adjustments to keep her involved.

Gigi Dolin has been a promising star in NXT ever since her days in Toxic Attraction. After the group disbanded, Dolin was involved in a few storylines, most notably against her former tag team partner, Jacy Jayne.
Gigi Dolin's singles push, however, came to a screeching halt when she suffered a serious knee injury earlier this year. It was later reported that she suffered a torn ACL and would be out of action for 10 to 14 months. Dolin was involved in a storyline feud with Arianna Grace and even faced her in a singles match on the March 12, 2024 episode of NXT. This storyline had to be dropped as a result of Dolin's injury.

After several months, Dolin made an appearance tonight on NXT Halloween Havoc. She narrated the introduction sequence for the Premium Live Event and spoke about all the matches on the card.
It's good to see that WWE found a new role for Gigi Dolin during her time away from the ring. It will also be interesting to see whether she will make more such appearances on WWE TV.
