WWE Superstar Sheamus wears his heart on his sleeve and is always willing to fight. So, as a fan of English Premier League football club Liverpool, The Celtic Warrior had to take advantage of the situation he found himself in.

The three-time WWE Champion was a guest on the It's Called Soccer podcast alongside Gary Neville, a retired footballer who used to play for Liverpool's bitter rivals, Manchester United. Having spent 19 years at Old Trafford, he naturally developed a hatred for the Merseyside club.

While the two exchanged banter throughout the episode, Sheamus offered to show Neville some of his wrestling moves. The Irish star nearly hit a Brogue Kick on the Manchester United legend before putting him in the Texas Cloverleaf, while screaming at him to admit that Liverpool is going to win the English Premier League this year.

Sheamus took to X/Twitter to claim that he wants instant entry into Liverpool's Hall of Fame for putting a submission move on Gary Neville. He even posted a clip of the bizarre moment:

"I want instant entry into Liverpool’s HOF for submitting Gary Neville for crimes against The Kop… #hetappedout," he tweeted.

Liverpool are currently first in the English Premier League standings, six points ahead of second-place Arsenal. So, as things stand, The Reds are the favorites to win the title in Arne Slot's first season as head coach at Anfield.

Sheamus recently signed a new five-year deal with WWE

It looks like The Celtic Warrior will be wrestling into his 50s, following the news that he re-signed with WWE a few months ago. Sheamus, who is currently 46, has been in top form recently. His matches on Monday Night RAW against the likes of Ludwig Kaiser, Bronson Reed, and Pete Dunne have been some of the most hard-hitting matches in the company's recent history.

The former World Heavyweight Champion is set to wrestle Kaiser once again on next week's episode of RAW. It remains to be seen if that is the final time they will face off.
