Trick Williams has become one of the most popular stars in NXT in the past year. He capitalized on his meteoric rise and became the NXT Champion. He won the title twice and has proven that he isn't afraid to defend it against anyone. However, Trick was getting ready to face his toughest challenger yet - Ridge Holland.
To make matters worse, Trick Williams was carried to a local medical facility after he was brutally assaulted by Ridge Holland last week on NXT. However, tonight on Deadline, Williams held his own against his challenger. Ridge came close to winning after he hit the redeemer, but Trick kicked out.

In the end, Trick went for a Trick Shot, but Ridge wasn't in position, so he caught him with Roman Reigns' Superman punch instead and picked up the win. However, Vic Joseph still called it the Trick Shot instead of acknowledging the Superman punch.
It will be interesting to see who will be next in line to challenge Trick Williams for the NXT Championship.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
