WWE has moved a main roster star back to NXT in what could potentially be a major change. SmackDown color commentator Corey Graves recently returned to the black and silver brand.

Graves joined the commentary team of Booker T and Vic Joseph for New Year's Evil. The 40-year-old last covered the action on the developmental brand almost seven years ago at NXT TakeOver: San Antonio.
Interestingly the move comes just days after WWE announced a shuffle in its commentary teams. With Michael Cole heading back to RAW to work alongside Pat McAfee, Joe Tessitore is going the other way to the blue brand.

This leaves Graves and Wade Barrett unaccounted for. Considering Barrett's chemistry with Tessitore, there is a chance he moves to SmackDown as well, while Corey's move back to NXT becomes more permanent. Nevertheless, it would seem as though Graves has no complaints, as he sounded happy to be back.
It will be interesting to see if Triple H and Shawn Michael make NXT Corey Graves' home once again in the coming weeks. So far, he has been doing a stellar job and would undoubtedly be a great addition. But until it becomes official, fans can enjoy hearing him bicker with Booker T and Vic Joseph tonight.
