WWE SuperShow Results: Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest face real-life couple, Champion loses title match, Jey Uso in action (Columbus, GA, 09/28)

The WWE roster returned to the live circuit with a dual-branded show in Columbus, Georgia. It featured top names from RAW and SmackDown, with a real-life couple also in action after a long time.

The show started with an Intercontinental Championship match, with Jey Uso defending his recently won title against Bron Breakker. This was Breakker's first match on the main roster's live circuit. However, he failed to make a mark as he once again came up short against the former Bloodline member.

Next, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill secured another victory over the Unholy Union. This was followed by the WWE Women's Championship match, where Bayley defeated Nia Jax. However, the victory came via DQ as The Irresistible Force attacked The Role Model with a chair, and thus, the title didn't change hands.

The house show also featured a mixed tag team match as Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest took on Karrion Kross and Scarlett. The Terror Twins picked up the win over the real-life couple.

In the World Heavyweight Championship bout, Gunther defeated Ilja Dragunov via submission. The show also saw The Wyatt Sicks make its live circuit debut as Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, and Dexter Lumis of the sinister faction took on American Made. Rowan picked up the win for his team, after which Uncle Howdy came to the ring to deliver a Sister Abigail to Chad Gable.

Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa of The Bloodline were also in action in Columbus. The duo defended their tag title against DIY. However, the match ended in DQ after Jacob Fatu attacked the babyfaces.

The event was headlined by Cody Rhodes, who faced a returning AJ Styles in the main event. The Phenomenal One has been unable to get the better of The American Nightmare in their feud, and the same continued last night as Rhodes again picked up the win.
