WWE Supershow Results: Top faction competes together after five months; huge Backlash rematch; Solo Sikoa faces former rival (Fayetteville, 05/20)

WWE held its weekly live event in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on Saturday, May 20. The event emanated from The Crown Coliseum and featured top stars from both RAW and SmackDown in action.

The evening started with a title match which saw Bianca Belair defend her RAW Women's Championship against Asuka and Bayley in a triple-threat match. The EST of WWE has held the title for over 400 days and is closing in on Trish Stratus' 447-day record as the Women's Champion.

She moved a step closer to the feat at the live event as she delivered a KOD to The Role Model to retain the title.

Next up was the United States Championship match, where Austin Theory put his title on the line against Sheamus. The duo are also slated to face off at next week's SmackDown, which was taped after this week's event. The 25-year-old managed to hold on to his championship.

Solo Sikoa went down the old road as he faced Matt Riddle in a singles match. The two stars recently had a heated rivalry after The Enforcer took out Riddle months ago, only for the latter to return to join forces with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in their battle against The Bloodline.

Elsewhere on the show, Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar of LWO continued their rivalry with The Judgment Day as the duo defeated Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest.

Zelina Vega, however, came up short against Rhea Ripley in a SmackDown Women's Championship rematch from Backlash. Omos also defeated Ricochet in a quick match.

Next up, AJ Styles teamed up with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson for the first time in over six months. The trio took on Imperium in a six-man tag team match where the babyfaces secured the victory.

The event was headlined by Cody Rhodes, who defeated Finn Balor in a Street Fight.
