WWE Superstar Karrion Kross has made an unexpected announcement before tonight's episode of SmackDown. Tonight's show will air live from the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.
Karrion Kross and his Final Testament faction were picked by RAW in this year's WWE Draft. The veteran took to social media ahead of tonight's edition of WWE SmackDown to make a major non-wrestling announcement.
Kross shared that he featured in an upcoming feature film and shared several screenshots from the project. He also revealed that if everything goes according to plans he would also be releasing a book around the same time the film is slated to release, later this year.
"Yep! The film is almost wrapped! I’ve been pretty tight lipped on something in the works for quite some time now. Decided to share today as we are so close! Without saying much more than that, Here are some screen grabs. I can’t wait for you all to see this. If everything stays on course, my book will be published as this releases in theaters this year and we will have A LOT to talk about. In everything that I do, all I’ve ever wanted was to show you all my best work and I’m thrilled to take you guys down these new roads together for the journey," he wrote.

Former WWE writer claims popular star will wind up like Karrion Kross
Vince Russo recently claimed that a former NXT Champion could wind up like Karrion Kross on the main roster.
Kross' first run on the main roster saw him wearing a mask and losing his debut match to Jeff Hardy. He was released from the company, only to return in 2022. However, he has not captured a title on the main roster so far, despite being a two-time NXT Champion.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the veteran predicted that Bron Breakker will wind up in a similar situation.
"Can I tell you where I think he [Bron Breakker] will wind up? I think he'll wind up like a Karrion Kross," said Russo. [2:28-2:32]

The Final Testament was defeated by The Pride in a Philadelphia Street Fight at WWE WrestleMania XL last month. Only time will tell what the promotion has in store for Kross and his faction on WWE RAW in the weeks ahead.
