WWE Tag Team Champions Grayson Waller and Austin Theory haven't been on the same page for a while. Sadly, Waller shared some unfortunate news regarding Theory's next appearance on Friday Night SmackDown.
Earlier this year, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller (A-Town Down Under) became champions at WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia. Later, they became the inaugural WWE Tag Team Champions of the new era and received new belts from Triple H and Nick Aldis.
However, DIY has been stirring the pot between Theory and Waller. Today, Grayson Waller on X addressed why he's in the upcoming qualifier match for Money in the Bank and revealed Theory won't attend SmackDown due to dental surgery:
"Unfortunately, I've some bad news for everyone. Due to the immoral and disgusting actions of DIY last week in Scotland, Austin Theory is unable to attend SmackDown (...) Because of their unprovoked attack, Austin had to have a pretty serious dental surgery, and I'm not sure when he's going to be back," Waller said. (From 0:35 to 0:55)

Waller also stated that there's no timetable for Theory's return. It'll be interesting to see the state of the tag team division without one-half of the champion.
Multi-time WWE champions want to dethrone Austin Theory and Grayson Waller
DIY has been one of the most popular acts from the developmental brand when it was under Triple H's leadership. Lately, The King of Kings has brought the band back together as Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa reunited as a team and joined the tag team division.
After failing to beat The Awesome Truth, the team knew it was time to make some changes. Luckily, they were moved to Friday Night SmackDown during the annual Draft and had a new target in mind as they wanted to go after the WWE Tag Team Championships.
During an appearance on SmackDown LowDown, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa made their intentions clear to go after Austin Theory and Grayson Waller on Friday Night SmackDown. DIY looks to capture their first set of gold on the main roster.
The two teams are no strangers to each other, as they have individually faced each other numerous times during their run on WWE's developmental brand.
