WWE teased that Chad Gable could join a new faction after a member of The Wyatt Sicks confronted him on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW. The group also attacked him backstage last week, but he was cleared for action.
During this week's show, the Olympian competed against Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed in the Money in the Bank triple threat qualifying match. The Monster of All Monsters was attacked by The Judgment Day during the bout, and Gable pinned Reed after hitting him with a moonsault to emerge victorious.
While Chad Gable was celebrating in the ring, the lights in the arena went out, and the ring was filled with smoke. Nikki Cross, a Wyatt Sicks member, crept into the ring, and Gable dropped to the mat, taken aback by the frightening being in front of him.
However, he managed to escape this time and didn't get hurt. Chad Gable then went backstage to try to reconcile with Otis, Maxxine Dupri, and Akira Tozawa. He apologized to them for the way he'd treated them, but Otis insisted that they were done.
After they left, the Creed Brothers, including Ivy Nile, approached Gable and asked him if he was okay. He said he wasn't and stated that he needed help. It's possible that he could join forces with them soon.
