WWE Superstar Karrion Kross is leading The Final Testament and is looking to recruit a new member into his faction. On Monday Night RAW, he made a strong point about a member of The New Day.
The 12-time Tag Team Champion Xavier Woods [four-time RAW Tag Team Champion, seven-time SmackDown Tag Team Champion, and one-time NXT Tag Team Champion] was medically cleared on last week's edition of the red brand show. The Doom Walker and Scarlett confronted Woods in the medical room and suggested there's always time to turn things around.
On this week's RAW, Kross left no stone unturned to claim that the 37-year-old needs to get out of Kofi Kingston's shadow. The Final Testament leader mentioned that the former King of the Ring should split up with The New Day to reach the top of WWE.
In a video shared on X/Twitter, Karrion Kross noted that he had been watching Woods since the beginning of his career, and The Final Testament could use someone like him in their group. The Doom Walker asserted that the 37-year-old would never win a singles championship if he continued his tomfoolery with The New Day.
Fans rushed to social media to share their reaction to Kross' bold statement. Many suggested they wish to see Xavier Woods away from The New Day and have a heel singles run.
"New Day splitting up, thank goodness! I always said Xavier Woods is underrated, and this could be good for him," said one user.
Some fans also want the 12-time Tag Team Champion to join forces with The Final Testament under Kross' leadership.
"I’m here for a Final Testament and Xavier Woods story. Respect Paul Ellering!'' wrote one fan.
"Karrion being a coach to Xavier Woods? Interesting!" said another fan.
Karrion Kross is confident he can turn WWE legend heel before retirement
Former WWE Champion John Cena carried the Stamford-based promotion for almost a decade. Throughout his career, The Leader of Cenation was a beloved babyface, and WWE never turned him heel despite several opportunities.
On social media, Karrion Kross was asked if he could turn John Cena to the dark side. The former NXT Champion responded with confidence that he could turn the Franchise Player heel.
"Of course, I could! I see HIM," he wrote.
The New Day members refused The Doom Walker's offer on RAW and issued a tag team challenge to The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) for next week's episode of the flagship show. Only time will tell if the 12-time Tag Team Champion will embrace the dark side to be part of The Final Testament!
