WWE is expected to revamp the Monday Night RAW roster once the show moves to Netflix starting January 2025. Meanwhile, SmackDown commentator Michael Cole recently announced that he will officially move back to RAW next year.

The 57-year-old veteran has been the voice of WWE since 1997. He has proved to be a jack-of-all-trades playing several roles in the Stamford-based promotion during his time with the company.

Aside from being a play-by-play commentator, Michael Cole has also served as a backstage interviewer and wrestled 12 matches. He is currently part of a two-man commentary booth on SmackDown alongside Corey Graves.

In an interview with Sal Licata of WFAN, Cole confirmed rumors of re-signing with WWE. The veteran said he still has a few more years left in him. He also revealed that he will be back on Monday Night RAW's debut on Netflix in 2025.

"I still feel like I have a lot left in me. I just signed a long-term deal with the company, I'll be doing this for a few more years. I'll be back on Netflix doing Monday Night RAW in January," he said. [H/T- Fightful]

Another WWE name is expected to leave SmackDown for RAW

It looks like Michael Cole isn't the only one who will be leaving SmackDown for RAW next year.

According to Xero News, Roman Reigns is also expected to move back to the red brand. Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes will stay on SmackDown for the foreseeable future.

The Original Tribal Chief has carried the blue brand on his back since 2019. A potential move to Monday Night RAW could open the door to a lot of dream matchups down the road.

As for now, Roman Reigns is focused on getting his Ula Fala back from Solo Sikoa. With Jimmy Uso back in the mix, fans are hoping to see the OG Bloodline reunite to face the new Bloodline in a WarGames match at Survivor Series next month.
