WWE legend JBL is known to be quite forward with his comments. His recent criticism of Vince Russo drew some attention to the apparent bad blood between them, but the latter has claimed that he harbors no grudge against John "Bradshaw" Layfield.
Despite having phenomenal success in some parts of his wrestling career as a writer, Russo has found himself to be quite a controversial figure to some due to his booking decisions. While his work during the Attitude era has garnered widespread acclaim, his shock-factor-focused storylines sometimes have received disdain.
On Sportskeeda's Writing with Russo, the veteran responded to criticisms made against him by JBL and stated:
"I don't have a probl... I am an adult bro. I am not gonna have a problem with JBL from 25 years ago, telling him that the new Blackjacks was a stupid gimmick. I am, my mind's not in the same headspace that these guys' heads are in. It's just not." [12:10 onwards onwards]

The WWE veteran also previously commented on John Cena's future
According to Vince Russo, John Cena deserves another world title run because the company botched his storyline with Austin Theory.
Speaking on an episode of The Wrestling Outlaws, the WWE veteran explained that Austin Theory's push had gone nowhere even after beating Cena in a singles match. He said:
"Yeah, I do. Especially what they did to him the last time. Him putting Austin Theory over and then they [WWE] did nothing with Theory. They absolutely owe him and I think it would be the right thing to do." (2:10 - 2:31)
