WWE veteran discusses possible return date for Alexa Bliss after her absence from RAW's Netflix premiere (Exclusive)

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo reviewed this week's episode of Monday Night RAW. He noted that one of the major stars missing from the Netflix premiere of the red brand was Alexa Bliss.

Bliss has been a prominent star for the company, working on both brands during her main roster stint. The star was a five-time Women's Champion before she took some time off to focus on her personal life.

This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo felt WWE needed some major stars ahead of the Royal Rumble. He noted that Alexa Bliss' return could depend on her current headspace. The veteran writer also clarified that the company could also look at her contract and then decide whether to bring her back or not.

"Maybe, they're gonna need bodies. I guess it just kinda depends on where her head's at and where the contract is at." [38:22 onwards]

Alexa Bliss' last match was at the Royal Rumble 2023, where she faced Bianca Belair for the RAW Women's Championship.

It will be interesting to see if the former five-time champion returns to WWE at the Royal Rumble.
