WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has been embroiled in an online war of words with Vince Russo since the latter criticized Jey Uso's actions after winning the Intercontinental Championship. Russo has now doubled down on his comment, noting that his views are shared by legends such as Kevin Nash.

The 63-year-old veteran recently called Jey Uso out for getting emotional after the Intercontinental Championship win, noting that the title was just a "prop." However, the statement did not sit well with Jey's father, Rikishi, who went off on the former WWE head writer and even challenged him to a one-on-one match.

While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW podcast, Vince Russo noted that even names like Kevin Nash called the championship belts a prop.

"Gettin' back to the Rikishi thing. Bro, I have heard Kevin Nash call that belt a prop a million times. I wonder how Rikishi feels about one of the boys referring to it as a prop," Vince Russo said. [56:14 - 56:28]

Russo added that a lot of stars he has worked with did not even like carrying the belt around:

"A lot of people listening to this show might not know this. Bro, a lot of the boys don’t like having the belt because they get lugged around with them to airports. To go through security is a pain in the backside. I can’t tell you how many boys I worked with who hated lugging that thing around." [56:52 - 57:17]

Jey Uso is no longer a champion as he lost the Intercontinental Championship to Bron Breakker on the latest episode of WWE RAW. The Yeet Master is expected to be a part of The Bloodline storyline moving forward.
