While Vince McMahon has left WWE, his son-in-law Triple H still runs creative. A wrestling veteran recently made a surprising statement about The Game and his wife Stephanie McMahon's current relationship with the former chairman.
In 2022, Stephanie McMahon became WWE's chairwoman and co-CEO following her father's retirement. Meanwhile, Triple H took over the creative department as the Chief Content Officer. While The Billion Dollar Princess resigned in January 2023 following Vince's return as executive chairman, her husband remained in his position.
The 79-year-old departed from the company earlier this year after being sued by former employee Janel Grant for alleged sexual assault and sex trafficking. The Game is now the only remaining McMahon-Levesque family member in WWE.
While being a guest on the Wrestling with the Devil podcast, former head writer Vince Russo made a surprising statement, speculating that Triple H and Stephanie have "flipped" on Vince McMahon.

Vince Russo thinks Bruce Prichard is Vince McMahon's "informant" in WWE
While Vince McMahon is no longer in WWE, one of his closest associates, Bruce Prichard, remains a top executive in the Triple H era. In his interview with the Wrestling with the Devil podcast, Vince Russo claimed the 61-year-old is an "informant" for the former chairman.
The former head writer suggested that Prichard let McMahon know everything that happened inside the Stamford-based promotion.
"Here's the part that puzzles me. With Vince no longer a part of that company, would you not have thought loyal soldier Bruce Prichard would have been the first one to say, 'You know, Endeavor, I don't wanna have anything to do with your company. I am a Vince McMahon guy. That's why there's a part of me like for Bruce to not do that and to still have a job there is the reason he still has a job there is because to this day he is Vince's informant and still letting Vince know everything that's going on in that company," Russo said.
Former employee Tommy Carlucci previously suggested Prichard as a potential successor of Triple H if TKO decided to let The Game go.
