WWE veteran reacts to Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan's kissing segment, recalls his wife crying over a similar spot (Exclusive)

Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan recently shared a rather steamy kiss on live WWE programming, which has raised questions about how the former's spouse may react. This prompted a Hall of Famer to recount a similar situation he was in.

The Hall of Famer, Teddy Long, has had his share of romance segments during his time in WWE. In one particular storyline, he was booked to marry Kristal Marshall on TV, something which his wife apparently did not initially know was kayfabe. This led to an amusing incident, with Teddy's wife thinking they were getting a divorce.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Teddy recalled the incident. He stated:

"I remember the time I was doing the thing with Kristal (Marshall) where I was getting married... I kissed Kristal and I went home that night, and she's up crying, telling me that all her friends were calling her wanting to know were her and I getting divorce. Oh ya, she is crying... Only way I convinced her, the day that we filmed that, I took her down with me so she could watch me get married." [1:49 onwards]

Dominik Mysterio also commented on the WWE segment

According to Dominik, his wife is quite okay with how his character worked in WWE programming.

Speaking in an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Rey Mysterio's son shared his thoughts on the matter and stated that he and his wife texted each other after these segments.

"She’s cool with it surprisingly, yeah, she’s honestly been super cool. She’s my ride-or-die. We’ve been together since we were 14. So as long as I let her know 'Hey, this is what’s going to go down.' She’s like 'Alright, cool.' She honestly never gives me a hard time. I’ve said it before, but when Rhea licked me that one time, and even after the kiss with Liv, her first text to me, because I always text her after a match or anything. ‘Hey honey, just finished. All good, all safe.’ Just so she knows. Usually, she’ll always text me back. ‘Oh, okay, good, see you soon. Love you,'" Dominik Mysterio said. [H\T: Inside the Ropes]

Dominik is currently a member of The Judgment Day, and it remains to be seen what is next for him down the line in WWE.
