A WWE veteran recently discussed Vince McMahon's relationship with Triple H. He revealed what the former chairman hated the most about The Game.

Triple H worked closely with Vince for multiple decades in the Stamford-based company. In 2022, The Game replaced the 79-year-old as head of the creative team. Although the former chairman returned in 2023, the 14-time World Champion remained in his position.

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash, a close friend of Triple H, recently claimed The King of Kings would have left the company if Vince took back creative control upon his return. Meanwhile, wrestling veteran Jonathan Coachman recently addressed Nash's comments on the Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Word podcast, stating that he believed there was some truth to Big Daddy Cool's claims.

The former Interim RAW General Manager revealed that Vince McMahon hated the fact that people liked The Game's NXT project.

"What did Vince hate the most when it came to Triple H? He hated something new that people liked; that wasn't his idea. Vince hated something working that wasn't his idea. Triple H came up with NXT. And you notice NXT stars would never be pushed. Now what do you see? What did you see tonight on Monday Night RAW? You're seeing NXT stars all over the place. Yeah, that's Triple H. That's his baby. His best friend Shawn Michaels runs NXT. Vince hated that," he said.

The 51-year-old claimed the former chairman did not want people to think Triple H was smarter than him.

"And that was one of the weak points of Vince McMahon. As much as he says, Tommy, 'I did things that were good for business,' if he came up with the idea should've been the complete sentence of that because he didn't wanna give anybody credit, much less his son-in-law, so people would think potentially Triple H is smarter than him," he added. Ex-WWE head writer thinks Triple H and Stephanie McMahon "flipped" on Vince McMahon

During a recent interaction on the Wrestling with the Devil podcast, former WWE head writer Vince Russo discussed Chief Content Officer Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon's current relationship with Vince McMahon.

The 63-year-old claimed that The Cerebral Assassin and The Billion Dollar Princess have "flipped" on the former WWE Chairman.

"[I think Triple H has flipped on Vince.] Triple H and Stephanie; I believe that without a [doubt]," Russo said.

Meanwhile, Russo claimed The Game's associate, Bruce Prichard, was currently Vince's "informant" inside the Stamford-based company.
