WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long recently spoke about Tessa Blanchard's return to TNA Wrestling. The controversial wrestler grabbed the spotlight as she showed up at the company's Final Resolution pay-per-view.
Tessa returned to TNA Wrestling after four years away from the company. She immediately attacked Jordynne Grace during her match against Rosemary. This resulted in the match ending as a no-contest.
On a recent episode of Wrestling Time Machine with Mac Davis, Long mentioned there wasn't much to discuss about the return. He felt the company knew Tessa's history and still decided to bring her back. He felt TNA Wrestling possibly wanted to let go of the past and start anew with the 29-year-old star.
"Well, I really can't speak on it man. It's up to the company. They know the deal, whatever, she left a rasicst comment, they already know that. So if they brought her back, they don't really care. So, ain't nothing to say." [From 2:39 onwards]
Tessa Blanchard's return has polarized the wrestling world. Several stars have come out in support of the 29-year-old claiming she deserves a second chance while others seem to feel it is a huge mistake.
Tessa Blanchard is an amazing athlete and it will be interesting to see how TNA books her during this stint.
