Tension has been rising between one of WWE's legendary tag teams., the New Day. A former WWE employee recently predicted the company would break that tag team up, possibly at Bash in Berlin.

With Big E out of the picture after suffering a serious neck injury nearly two years ago, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston have been carrying the legacy of their faction. However, there seems to be tension between the two superstars lately.

This Monday on RAW, Woods disclosed to Kingston that he was unhappy with the latter recruiting the help of Odyssey Jones against The Final Testament without telling him first. He also expressed concern that his partner was trying to replace Big E. The former WWE Champion apologized and assured Woods that Big E would not be replaced.

Later that night, The New Day and Jones defeated The Final Testament in a six-man tag team match. Despite the victory, Woods did not seem happy with Kingston. Speaking on Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Word, former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci predicted that the 37-year-old would turn on his partner. He claimed it could happen at the upcoming premium live event:

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

"Oh, it's definitely gonna happen. I thought it was gonna happen tonight but they're gonna string it out a little more. Again, he was upset tonight, you know, not talking to him about stuff before bringing Odyssey on into the New Day type of deal. So, you're feeling it. It's gonna happen. You thought it was gonna happen tonight. They swerved you because they knew that everybody thought it was gonna happen tonight. It may happen if they have a match at Bash in Berlin," he said. WWE veteran Jonathan Coachman thinks Big E will never wrestle again

Big E has not competed since suffering his neck injury during a spot with Ridge Holland on SmackDown in March 2022. The former WWE Champion recently clarified that he is unsure if he will ever wrestle again inside the squared circle.

On a previous episode of Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Word, wrestling veteran Jonathan Coachman predicted that Big E would never compete again. He warned the 38-year-old that he could end up paralyzed if he returned to in-ring action:

"Tommy, he's [Big E] never wrestling again, '' Coachman said. ''No, no way," Carlucci replied. "He's never wrestling again. I know he wants to. I would never allow him to because he would take one bad, just a simple chokeslam or a bodyslam for him to be paralyzed forever," The Coach added.

The New Day has been one of WWE's top factions for nearly a decade. It would be interesting to see if the Stamford-based company will break it up in the upcoming weeks.
