Xavier Woods gets into verbal altercation with WWE legend; huge match booked for next week

Xavier Woods appears to be on the verge of turning heel, and each week, it feels like we're getting closer to that moment. This week on RAW, he got into a backstage verbal altercation with WWE legend Rey Mysterio, who then made a match against Woods official for next week.

Xavier Woods might be one of the most successful tag team stars in WWE history, but he hasn't had much success lately. This week on RAW, he and Kofi Kingston's slump continued as they lost to American Made's Creed Brothers duo.

Backstage, Rey Mysterio apologized on behalf of the LWO for their interference the previous week in the World Tag Team Championship match. Xavier Woods seemed unable to accept the apology and his lack of singles success appears to be a big source of insecurity for him.

After hitting back at Rey Mysterio and refusing his apology by stating that he needed to give his advice to Dominik Mysterio instead, the WWE legend made a match against him official.

Rey Mysterio was initially scheduled to face Finn Balor before Bad Blood, but that match has been changed to Mysterio vs Woods.

Despite Odyssey Jones' WWE release, it seems that not all is well within The New Day—something that Kofi Kingston is trying to understand as they are constantly on two different pages.

The day seems to be coming closer to when we see Woods snap.
