WWE Superstar Xavier Woods mocked a major AEW star ahead of tonight's episode of RAW. Woods is currently in The New Day faction with Kofi Kingston, but the duo have hinted at a split in recent weeks.
In an interview with TV Insider's Scott Fishman, Xavier Woods was asked about his friendship with AEW star Kenny Omega. The veteran hilariously claimed that he wasn't friends with Omega, and suggested that Ramen Noodles needed to sue him because of his hairstyle.
"I think, first of all, it’s funny you say friendship with Kenny Omega. I can not stand him. He is the worst. I think Ramen Noodles needs to hit him with a lawsuit for the hair that he has been showing," said Woods. [H/T: TV Insider]
Kofi Kingston lost to Pete Dunne in a singles match last week on WWE RAW. After the bout, Xavier Woods and his stablemate argued on the entrance ramp and continued to tease a potential split for the tag team.
Former WWE writer suggests Xavier Woods has been in the company for too long
Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently claimed that stars like The New Day and Sheamus have overstayed their welcome in WWE.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, the legend stated that Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston had been in the company too long. Russo also named The Miz and Sheamus as examples of stars the WWE Universe had lost interest in, over the years.
"There's too many people on this roster that have been on for too long. That's why it doesn't mean anything. We have Kofi and, what's his name, cameraman [Xavier Woods]. They've been on this show forever. Then we go to Miz, Miz has been on this show forever. Then we go to Sheamus at the end of the night. God, man, it's nothing against these guys, but man, after you've been on for so many years unless you're a super, super super star, it's really hard to make people care about you. It really is," Russo said.

WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce recently announced that an entire upcoming episode of the red brand would be dedicated to The New Day's 10th anniversary.
It will be interesting to see if the popular faction breaks up, or decides to work through their differences in the weeks ahead.
