While The Wyatt Sicks' debut on WWE RAW was one of the highlights of pro wrestling stories last week, a veteran had quite a negative reaction to it. According to the veteran in question, Bill Apter, the segment should not have happened live.

Rumors of The Wyatt Sicks' debut had been making the rounds in the pro wrestling community. Considering the tragic passing of Bray Wyatt last year, it is understandable that their debut had been delayed significantly. However, the wait seemed worth it as fans erupted at the incredibly detailed and well-thought-out entrance of the faction on RAW.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Bill Apter stated that he was not impressed with the WWE segment.

"I am gonna use a 4 letter word here. Yuck, I hated it. I hated it. I really didn't like it at all. I think Braun Strowman was down too, I didn't feel it was enough. I didn't feel like it was a tribute. I just felt like they were trying to continue the story of course. It should have been a cinematic peace. It shouldn't have been live there. I just didn't... It didn't work for me." [1:13 onwards]

Bill Apter further compared the debut segment with other moments on WWE RAW

According to Bill Apter, The Wyatt Sicks' entrance did not stand up to the level of other segments on the same show, including Drew McIntyre quitting WWE and Seth Rollins' return.

On the same episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, the veteran journalist stated that Wyatt Sicks' entrance was too gimmicky for him to enjoy.

"It was too much schtick. It was too much, um, I don't know how to put it again. It should have been done in a cinematic form. I would have enjoyed it that way. But here we are, in a whole night where Drew McIntyre quits, Seth Rollins comes back, and it ends with this. No." [2:22 onwards]

It remains to be seen how WWE plans to move the story of the new faction forward.
