Zelina Vega's pro wrestling career commenced in 2010, and seven years later, she officially signed a contract with WWE. It seems she picked one of her big moves, the moonsault, from her idol, WWE Hall of Famer Amy Dumas (Lita).

This week on Monday Night RAW, Vega challenged Women's World Champion Liv Morgan in a losing effort. Nonetheless, she delivered a stellar performance. The bout was filled with several high-octane moves.

In one such instance, Vega hit the moonsault on Morgan from the top turnbuckle. A fan noted this on X/Twitter and seemed convinced that the former Queen of the Ring learned it from Lita. The LWO member responded to the tweet with the following message:

"To be honest, I started doing moonsaults in honor of @AmyDumas so, that’s an awesome compliment, thank you!" Vega wrote.

Since joining the Stamford-based promotion in 2017, Zelina Vega has been involved in various notable storylines. After ending her alliance with Andrade, she started focusing on her in-ring career in WWE, capturing the Women's Tag Team Championship with Carmella and winning the first-ever Queen of the Ring Tournament in 2021.

Zelina Vega's goal in WWE is to become the Women's World Champion

Presently, Vega is embroiled in a rivalry with Women's World Champion Liv Morgan, which stems from Latino World Order's issues with The Judgment Day. While the 33-year-old is part of WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio's crew, Morgan has only recently sided with their opposition. However, The Miracle Kid is not an official member of the heel group.

During an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter a few months ago, Zelina Vega expressed gratitude for what she has been able to accomplish thus far. However, she has seemingly saved the best for last, as she aims to win a world title.

"I feel like I've gotten the chance to do some amazing things, work with some amazing people. Andrade, and obviously I got to work very closely with Rey, I got to be the first ever Queen of the Ring and tag champion, but I've never actually gotten to be WWE Women's Champion. So that's my goal. It's something that I really wanted to do and prove that I can do. There's been so many doubters and people who thought I couldn't do any of what I've accomplished."

Although it did not happen this week on RAW, Zelina Vega has proved that she can hang with the top champions of World Wrestling Entertainment. It seems only a matter of time before the LWO star wins the coveted Women's World Title.
