Zelina Vega has recently explained why she does not compete more inside the WWE ring.
Vega signed with the Stamford-based company in 2017. Since then, she has competed several times on NXT, SmackDown, and Monday Night RAW. However, she mainly played a managerial role with Andrade El Idolo, Legado Del Fantasma, and LWO. However, Vega has competed in only seven televised matches since the beginning of this year.
In a recent interview with Ring The Belle, the 32-year-old explained why she does not wrestle more often. She disclosed that she does not want to compete just for no reason.
"It depends on the situation and I feel like it also depends on... I don't like to get in the ring just to get into the ring, okay. I've been doing this for 14 years and I'm not trying to get beat up for nobody except me, so..." Vega said. [1:53 - 2:03]
