Zelina Vega sends out confusing reaction to fan's bold claim, creates intrigue

WWE Superstar Zelina Vega recently reacted to a fan claiming that she would be the WWE Women's Champion in the near future.

Vega is a really popular babyface and has cemented her position as one of the top wrestlers in the female division. She is now a part of the Latino World Order (LWO) stable, which also includes Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar, Carlito, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro. Recently, on the 25th August episode of SmackDown, Vega challenged IYO SKY for the WWE Women's Championship but was unsuccessful in winning the title.

Taking to social media, one of Vega's supporters uploaded a photo of the former holding the WWE Women's Championship in WWE 2k23. They also mentioned that Zelina would win the championship in the near future:

"Sooner or later this will happen."

Vega sent out a very short and confusing reaction to the same, as she responded with a "sad face" emoji.

Zelina Vega shares her honest opinion on winning a singles title in the near future

While speaking in an interview with Screen Rant, Zelina Vega suggested that winning the Royal Rumble would be a huge achievement for her at this point.

"I think that [winning the Royal Rumble] would be the cherry on top of something so perfect for me because, and I mentioned this before, but people, I've been a manager for someone for a good five years in WWE. So this is a whole new Zelina that they're seeing as far as me being a wrestler and a baby face because that did not come easy at all. I will say that that did not come very easy or, I guess, natural for me because they've always said I've been a natural heel. But I think it's just allowing people to get to know the real me and just letting that come out to play for a bit," she said.

Vega further added how she has grown exponentially in her career over the years, starting initially from WWE Backlash, Money in the Bank, Royal Rumble, and ultimately to WrestleMania.

The LWO member also stated that it is time for her to be a singles champion now, as she has already proven herself infront of all the fans and the company as well.

"So by that moment that I had Backlash, then, my God, putting my body on the line and 'Money In The Bank' and just doing what I felt I needed to do to now where we can go in the world, Rumble to WrestleMania. I think this is just going up and up. And I think that this is something that I feel like I'm proving to the fans, I'm proving to the office, I'm also proving to myself that this is the version of myself that I'm supposed to be at. This is where I'm supposed to be in. And holding singles gold is exactly where Zelina Vega needs to be now in her career."

It would be exciting to see when Zelina Vega can win the singles title in the near future.
