Zelina Vega has sent a defiant message after she was attacked this past Monday night on WWE RAW. The Latino World Order member competed in a singles match against Sonya Deville but there was outside interference.
Deville made her return to the ring after suffering a torn ACL last year. Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark were ringside for the match and The Queen of Spades got involved. Baszler attacked Vega and went after her arm. Deville then capitalized and picked up a pinfall victory.
The heels then attacked Vega after the match before Kayden Carter, Katana Chance, and Lyra Valkyria made the save. Vega took to her official X/Twitter account today following the attack and sent a defiant message:
"All my life, I’ve heard that my height holds me back. Today is no different. But there’s just so much you can prove here and there. I’ve gotten to touch the ball but never actually hold it. Give. me. the. ball. If I drop it F**K me, I’ll fall back..but I’m ready to settle this," she wrote.
Zelina Vega reveals her goal as a WWE Superstar
RAW star Zelina Vega has opened up about what she wants to accomplish in the company.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, Zelina Vega shared that she wanted to become WWE Women's Champion. She noted that she has accomplished a lot in her career but she's never held the title and she wanted to prove her doubters wrong:
"I feel like I've gotten the chance to do some amazing things, work with some amazing people. Andrade, and obviously I got to work very closely with Rey, I got to be the first ever Queen of the Ring, and tag champion, but I've never actually gotten to be WWE Women's Champion. So that's my goal. It's something that I really wanted to do and prove that I can do. There's been so many doubters and people who thought I couldn't do any of what I've accomplished."
