Nia Jax is a female professional wrestler with Australian-American ethnicity and nationality. The SmackDown Superstar is the current Queen of the Ring. The former Raw Women's Champion is also a two-time winner of WWE Women's Tag Team Title. Jax first signed with WWE in the year 2014 and started wrestling in the NXT brand. After spending almost two years in the NXT brand, Jax was promoted to the main roster in 2016 following the WWE draft of that year. Her first tenure with the WWE ended in 2021. Nia Jax made her return to the WWE during the Royal Rumble 2023.

Nia Jax has been a Heel since September 11, 2023. She made her WWE debut as a Heel on May 7, 2015, in NXT and continued the persona till March 12, 2018, during the early days of her main roster appearances. After a betrayal from Alexa Bliss, Jax turned into a Face on March 13, 2018, and had been a Face till November 5, 2018, in which period she clinched the Raw Women's Championship.

Jax again became Heel a day after on November 6, 2018, and performed in the events like Royal Rumble 2019 and WrestleMania 35 under that persona. Jax won the WWE Women's Tag Team Title two times as a Heel. She continued that persona till November 4, 2021, before her injury and first WWE exit. Jax made her WWE return as a full-timer with a Heel persona on September 11, 2023, and is presently working under the same with a Queen of the Ring accomplishment.

Nia Jax Ring Names

Apart from her current ring name, Nia Jax also has other ring names such as Lina Fanene, Zada, and Lina. She used the name Zada on May 7, 2015, during her in-ring debut at an NXT house show. That name was changed to her current name in August 2015.

Savelina Fanene is the real and the birth name of WWE Superstar Nia Jax. She was born on May 29, 1984, in Sydney, Australia, and is presently 40 years old as of July 2024. She was brought up in Honolulu, Hawaii, and has Samoan German heritage. Jax was a student at Carlsbad High School and lived in San Diego, California, United States. During her college life at the Palomar College, she played basketball. Jax worked as a plus-size model following her graduation with a marketing degree in 2005 from California State University.
