Another Money in the Bank Qualifier will take place this week on SmackDown, where Jade Cargill will compete against Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae in a Triple Threat Match. The winner will advance to next Saturday's Ladder Match.
As we have said, MITB is one of the most important premium live events for WWE Superstars, as the winner of the Men's and Women's Ladder Match gets a future title match.
Thus, we expect the three female stars to do their best to emerge victorious and clinch their spot in the Ladder Match. That said, we look at three possible finishes for this Friday's Triple Threat Qualifying Match.
#3. Candice LeRae upsets her opponents and qualifies for MITB
Candice LeRae is not the favorite in this match, but she could still claim the win to qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Candice appears to have no direction at the moment, so advancing to the Ladder Match would give her extra motivation and would be a sign that WWE has plans to push her going forward.
#2. Tiffany Stratton to win and advance to the MITB Ladder Match
Tiffany Stratton has done a great job as a heel since signing with SmackDown in February 2024. Although she has not become a world champion yet, we expect WWE to push her forward.
With that in mind, it would make sense for Stratton to win the Qualifying Match this Friday on SmackDown and make it to the Ladder Match. That way, she would become a grand favorite to win it all next Saturday and get a guaranteed title match.
It is unlikely that she will get a title shot soon if she loses the opportunity to advance to the MITB Ladder Match. With Nia Jax set for a title match at Summerslam and Charlotte Flair set to return, Tiffany Stratton's earliest attempt at the title picture would be the Bash in Berlin in late August.
#1. Nia Jax to interfere and cost Jade Cargill the win
Nia Jax and Jade Cargill have started a feud, which we expect to intensify now that the latter is no longer a tag team champion. With Jax waiting for her title match at Summerslam, it would make sense for WWE to have her interfere in the match and cost Jade Cargill the win.
If this happens, Cargill and Jax will add more fuel to their feud, leading to a match at Money in the Bank. Such a scenario would give Jade Cargill a direction in singles run, as WWE will need to find a way to push her forward.
That said, the most likely scenario is for Tiffany Stratton to win the match, and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis set a match between Cargill and Jax for Money in the Bank.
