We are just a few weeks away from SummerSlam 2024, which will be broadcast live on Saturday, August 3, from the Cleveland Browns Stadium. WWE has already announced several high-profile bouts for this Premium Live Event. Meanwhile, Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce may soon announce a major multi-person Women's Tag Team title match in the coming weeks.

The Women's Tag Team Title is held by both RAW and SmackDown, creating an ideal situation where challengers could come from both brands. Currently, on the red brand, the alliance of Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler is looming in the tag team division.

Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane are also still representing Damage CTRL as effectively as possible on Monday nights. On the other hand, despite losing the Tag Team titles at Clash at the Castle 2024, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill continue to compete as a tag team on SmackDown and at house shows.

This sets up a potential scenario where Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce could announce a multi-woman match for the Women's Tag Team titles. In this match, Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre could defend their championship against Sonya Deville's faction, along with Belair, Cargill, and Damage CTRL.

As SummerSlam is considered the second-biggest PLE of WWE after WrestleMania, the Stamford-based promotion will undoubtedly aim to showcase the Women's Tag Division on such a grand stage. Announcing this match would indeed result in a blockbuster contest at the Biggest Party of the Summer and help WWE deliver some memorable moments during the Unholy Union's Tag Team Title reign.

Will WWE announce more matches to the SummerSlam 2024 card?

In addition to the potential multi-person match, there is a possibility that a United States Championship match could be officially announced by WWE soon. In the past week’s episode of SmackDown, LA Knight signed a contract for a title match against Logan Paul, although it has not yet been officially signed by the Maverick.

WWE has been building this feud for several months, and it seems likely they will finalize the match at SummerSlam 2024. The company might even announce this match in tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown if the YouTube Sensation makes his appearance.

As of now, four matches are officially part of the SummerSlam card. It remains to be seen how developments will unfold on the road to the Biggest Party of the Summer and how many additional matches WWE will add to their PLE card.
