Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes agreed to have each other's back at Bad Blood last week on WWE SmackDown. Nick Aldis could issue a major announcement to ensure The Bloodline plays fair.
The Bloodline planned to brutally assault Cody Rhodes after he defeated Solo Sikoa inside a Steel Cage. Surprisingly, Roman Reigns entered to balance the numbers, leading to a blockbuster tag team match with the babyfaces going against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at the upcoming premium live event. However, they could be outnumbered. The WWE SmackDown General Manager could step in to ensure that doesn't happen.
Like Aldis previously announced a Steel Cage Match to ensure a fair battle against Solo and his corrupt faction, he could announce that Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa would be banned from ringside at WWE Bad Blood 2024. While Cody and Roman will likely be a deadly tag team, they may fall short if they're effectively up against four wrestlers.
Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa have been heavily involved in the ongoing feud so far, so based on their past interferences, it would be justified to ban them from ringside and ensure a clean match. This scenario isn't confirmed and is just speculation for now, but it will make things far more interesting if it materializes.
What else could happen in Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes' rivalry with The Bloodline on tonight's WWE SmackDown?
Several developments could happen in the ongoing feud apart from Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa getting banned. In case the two sides go into an all-out brawl, the bout at Bad Blood could even be changed to a Tornado Tag Team Match.
The highly anticipated return of Jimmy Uso could finally happen this week on WWE SmackDown. To balance the numbers game against Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, the multi-time tag team champion could return to join the babyface side. Paul Heyman could also make a surprise return to television to ensure The Bloodline is taken care of.
Lots of questions and all answers will be revealed in a few hours when the blue brand's new episode goes live.
