SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has been making significant decisions leading up to WWE Bad Blood. He has already announced that Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will team up to face The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at the highly anticipated premium live event.

Last week, Aldis also revealed that Bayley and Naomi will face off in a singles match on the upcoming episode of SmackDown, with the winner earning a shot at Nia Jax's WWE Women's Championship at Bad Blood. However, there is a possibility that the singles match at Bad Blood could be turned into a triple threat.

Nia Jax was visibly shocked and embarrassed after being pinned by both Bayley and Naomi on SmackDown last week. As a result, she might interfere in the number one contender's match, taking out both competitors. This could prompt Nick Aldis to announce that Jax will now have to defend her title in a Triple Threat match, where she wouldn't necessarily need to be pinned to lose the championship.

Nick Aldis teases massive matchup with top WWE official

Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce, the General Managers of SmackDown and RAW respectively, have become integral parts of WWE's weekly programming. Their contrasting styles and demeanor are intriguing to watch, with each vying for their brand’s supremacy.

Fans have long been clamoring for a potential match between the two former NWA World Champions. Recently, Nick Aldis fueled speculation by posting a picture of himself working out on Twitter, teasing the possibility of stepping into the ring with his RAW counterpart.

"After much deliberation I have decided to respond to this post by my Raw counterpart. We both enjoyed a decorated tenure in our careers before WWE; there is no doubt you & I respect the legacy and tradition of our industry. So you're asking if I would step in the ring with you?... Time will tell," Aldis wrote.

It will be interesting to see if this potential feud starts taking shape in the build-up to the Survivor Series Premium Live Event later this year.
