General Managers are once again a key part of WWE programming. Around five years ago, the GM role from RAW and SmackDown was removed. In the interim, officials and other forms of authority figures popped up from time to time, but things have gone back to the ways of the past.

The two General Managers of WWE's main roster are Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis. Pearce runs RAW, and Aldis runs Friday Night SmackDown. The two showed some tension last week, with Nick going as far as to have Adam removed from the blue brand. The two seemingly mended the fence at RAW, but things are still dicey.

One of the biggest reasons why issues are lingering between the two is potential tampering. Nick Aldis was seen talking to select superstars, perhaps encouraging them to join the blue brand. In particular, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance, two former champions, were chatting with the British authority figure.

Carter and Chance are former NXT Women's Tag Team Champions. While the titles have unfortunately been discontinued, the duo was a high-quality team who are looking to break out on RAW.

Unfortunately, their time on the red brand likely hasn't lived up to the expectations the pair had upon joining WWE's main roster. As a result, they may be interested in jumping to SmackDown either in a trade or by signing a new deal.

Another WWE RAW star seemed frustrated with Adam Pearce

It remains to be seen whether or not Kayden Carter and Katana Chance were taking their conversation with Nick Aldis particularly seriously. There was another star who openly expressed his frustrations with Adam Pearce, however.

The Miz was seen talking to Pearce backstage on WWE Monday Night RAW. When the two men were chatting, the former world champion was offended that Adam hasn't given him a meaningful role on the red brand's shows over the past few weeks.

Ultimately, The Miz's complaints didn't land him particularly far. His conversation with the RAW General Manager was interrupted by Rhea Ripley, who took precedence immediately. Once she eventually walked off, the cameraman followed her as opposed to staying with the Pearce-Miz conversation.

Still, The A-Lister hinted at potentially leaving RAW for greener pastures on SmackDown. Could Nick Aldis recruit a former world champion? Does he see potential in a pair of former NXT Women's Tag Team Champions? Things are certainly heating up in World Wrestling Entertainment.
