Nick Aldis may have a lot in store for the upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown for a lot of reasons, especially with Survivor Series approaching. It will mark the fallout of the Crown Jewel event and some matches for the PLE at the end of this month can be announced.
The upcoming WWE SmackDown episode will feature the likes of Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Motor City Machine Guns, and more. With Survivor Series coming up, it's possible that Nick Aldis has already begun plotting matches for the event with the stars involved on tonight's episode. However, he may announce that some names won't be able to appear at the upcoming PLE.
For this list, we will look at four things Nick Aldis can announce on WWE SmackDown tonight regarding Survivor Series.
Cody has no chance against John Cena? Details HERE
#4. Massive Bloodline match could be confirmed for WarGames
One of the most highly-anticipated matches for Survivor Series is between Roman Reigns' Bloodline and Solo Sikoa's Bloodline. Tonight, Nick Aldis can finally put these rumors to rest by confirming it.
Sami Zayn may appear on tonight's WWE SmackDown after being invited by Jey Uso to hopefully talk about his issues with Roman Reigns, especially following the misguided attack at Crown Jewel. During the meeting, Solo can interrupt them which can lead to a brawl. The General Manager can later make the match official to hopefully contain the superstars involved.
#3. Nia Jax could meet her new challenger for the Women's Championship
Nia Jax lost to Liv Morgan last weekend and failed to become the inaugural Crown Jewel Champion. Also, there was a near-successful cash-in from Tiffany Stratton if it wasn't for Raquel Rodriguez.
Tonight on WWE SmackDown, Nia can return to her former rivals, Naomi and Bayley. Since The Role Model already had her chance against Jax, Nick Aldis can make the decision that The Glow is next to face The Irresistible Force for the Women's Championship.
#2. Nick Aldis can announce that 14-time World Champion will be missing Survivor Series
At Crown Jewel, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton weren't able to have their scheduled match since both men just brawled around the arena, which ended with the latter getting the worst of the exchange. Tonight, the GM can share more about the aftermath.
Nick Aldis can share the unfortunate news tonight that Randy Orton was injured during the exchange and will miss Survivor Series. With this, he can set up Kevin Owens vs. Cody Rhodes instead.
#1. WWE RAW and WWE SmackDown go to war
The tension between Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce has always been present since the former was introduced as the General Manager of SmackDown. However, both men have been at each other's throats recently, especially after Randy Orton RKO'd the RAW GM while the blue brand's GM simply watched.
Both men were former in-ring wrestlers before joining the Stamford-based promotion, and they could lace up their boots again at Survivor Series. Tonight, Aldis can officially challenge his fellow GM to either a one-on-one match or the traditional 5-on-5 elimination tag team match involving each other.
