WWE SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis has yet to wrestle for promotion. However, the 38-year-old on-screen executive may be forced to don his wrestling gear for a special match at WrestleMania 41.

Aldis may be compelled to confront an obstinate WWE Superstar who has consistently been causing havoc on the blue brand, Kevin Owens. The Prizefighter has been wreaking havoc on SmackDown since Cody Rhodes combined forces with Roman Reigns. He stole Cody's Winged Eagle belt, attacked him with a Package Piledriver, and injured Randy Orton.

On the December 27 edition of SmackDown, KO pushed Nick Aldis, which may not sit well with the latter. Owens is slated to face Cody Rhodes in a Ladder match at Royal Rumble 2025 for the Undisputed WWE Championship. The Winged Eagle belt will also be suspended above the ring along with the modern-day title for the contest.

If Owens loses his bout at Royal Rumble, he may continue to assault Cody Rhodes, forcing Nick Aldis to step up and confront him. The two may have a heated argument on SmackDown, and Owens may ultimately challenge Nick Aldis to a match at WrestleMania 41.

The WWE executive may be forced to step down as SmackDown general manager before accepting Owens' challenge. For the unversed, Nick Aldis isn't just an on-screen authority figure with managerial skills, he is an experienced wrestler with stellar runs in TNA (fka Impact Wrestling) and the National Wrestling Alliance.

The National Treasure has also been a TNA World Heavyweight Champion once. Hence, if Kevin Owens challenges him to a match, he will likely have his hands full at The Show of Shows.

Drew McIntyre may attack Cody Rhodes at WWE Royal Rumble 2025

Drew McIntyre has now made his entry in the Rhodes-Owens storyline. The Scottish Warrior, in essence, has kept everyone guessing about his real intentions. He has been attacking members of The OG Bloodline for some time and now claims that Rhodes is his friend. However, one never knows what The Scottish Psychopath is up to.

At Royal Rumble 2025, McIntyre may attack Cody Rhodes to lay the foundation for a massive program.

Nick Aldis may then come out to confront McIntyre and Owens leading to a two-on-one assault. This may force Aldis to step down as SmackDown general manager and team up with Cody Rhodes for a tag team match at Elimination Chamber 2025. Then, at WrestleMania 41, Aldis may square off against Kevin Owens in a one-on-one bout.
