WWE SummerSlam 2024's match card has four championship matches on it already. However, the potential United States Championship match is in jeopardy, as LA Knight has signed the contract but reigning champion Logan Paul hasn't. Even more weirdly, Nick Aldis was nowhere to be seen when The Megastar came out of the SmackDown GM's office with the contract.

Knight did claim that Aldis had signed the contract, but the former may have been fibbing to get Logan Paul worked up. In reality, Nick Aldis could be unaware of the situation, and Knight may have forged the contract. As a punishment, the SmackDown GM could strip The Megastar of the championship match at The Biggest Party of The Summer on the upcoming episode of the Friday Night Show.

However, Aldis needs the United States Championship to be defended. Hence, he may punish LA Knight by delaying the latter's eventual showdown with The Maverick until Bad Blood 2024, which will be staged on October 5, 2024. The event will take place on the 27th anniversary of the first-ever Hell in a Cell Match. Hence, Nick might book the fierce rivals in a Hell in a Cell Match at the Bad Blood PLE.

LA Knight recently mocked Logan Paul's WWE United States Championship run

The Maverick recently crossed 250 days as the United States Champion. However, Logan has defended the prized title on just two occasions during his reign. The social media star successfully defended the US Championship against Kevin Owens at Royal Rumble 2024. He later overcame The Prizefighter and The Viper in a Triple Threat Match at The Show of Shows.

Fans have been critical of Logan Paul's reign due to the lack of title defenses. Recently, his arch-rival, LA Knight, took to his Twitter (X) account to mock the social media star's 250-day milestone. The Megastar also referenced his recent victory over The Maverick on SmackDown.

"Zero... just like the amount of times he’s [Logan Paul] beat the Megastar!" he wrote.

LA Knight defeated Logan Paul and Santos Escobar in a Triple Threat Match last month to qualify for the Men's MITB Ladder Match. It will be interesting to see if the former Million Dollar Champion gets a crack at Logan's US Title at The Biggest Party of The Summer.
