SummerSlam 2024 was an eventful show, leaving Nick Aldis with a lot of things to sort out on SmackDown. Tonight's episode could see the general manager make a few big announcements for the future.

From legal situations to the return of Roman Reigns, Aldis has his hands full this week. So, let's look at four things he can announce on the first SmackDown after The Biggest Event of the Summer.

#4. Trades between SmackDown and RAW

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Randy Orton made a surprise appearance on this week's episode of RAW, to challenge Gunther to a World Heavyweight Championship match. This might be the first step in a series of trades between WWE's red and blue brands.

Nick Aldis could announce that SmackDown has received a trade in exchange for The Viper. Furthermore, A-Town Down Under's RAW appearance may lead to them switching brands as well. Aldis can confirm all the moves tonight while keeping his newest signings to SmackDown a mystery.

#3. Nick Aldis books a huge six-woman tag team match

Last Friday, Blair Davenport stopped Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill from becoming WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.

This was the start of a supposed alliance between her and The Unholy Union. Belair and Cargill themselves have a friend who can even the odds, which would lead to a six-woman tag team match. Naomi has teamed with them in the past, with the trio previously being known as The Big 3.

Whether on an episode of SmackDown or at Bash in Berlin, Nick Aldis can announce the bout. Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Naomi are all incredibly popular, which could result in this feud culminating in a premium live event match.

#2. LA Knight is suspended after Logan Paul's official complaint

LA Knight may have won the United States Championship at SummerSlam, but Logan Paul isn't done with him. He plans on taking The Megastar to court following the damage done to his PRIME truck. The Maverick has filed an official complaint, that may force Nick Aldis' hands here.

Not willing to take any risks, the general manager of SmackDown could suspend Knight while this case is still ongoing. Of course, this could lead to the US Champion fighting Paul's lawsuit, through a few entertaining segments.

This would eventually lead to a rematch between the two, with LA Knight standing tall over Logan Paul once again.

#1. Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes to team up at WWE Bash in Berlin

Roman Reigns is now a babyface, after helping Cody Rhodes defeat Solo Sikoa in their Bloodline Rules Match. While it's more of animosity towards his cousin than a truce with The American Nightmare, WWE would be smart to explore the dynamic between the two biggest good guys in the company.

Following a hot opening segment on SmackDown where Rhodes saves Reigns from a Bloodline beatdown, Nick Aldis can make it official. The two WrestleMania main eventers teaming up against Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga at Bash in Berlin.

This would be a blockbuster tag team match, as Roman Reigns eases into in-ring action following a long hiatus. Meanwhile, Tonga can take the pin in the match, with Jacob Fatu sitting out due to injury. Aldis has the chance to create a legendary moment with The Original Tribal Chief and Cody Rhodes; he best not miss out on it.
