SmackDown Live has been the show to watch on WWE TV after the brand split. With engaging rivalries, intense promos and exciting matches, SmackDown is handing its red counterpart more that it can handle. Add to that the able management of Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan, and the quintet of AJ Styles, Becky Lynch, Rhyno & Health Slater, and The Miz as the champions holding the gold.
After the successful inaugural SmackDown exclusive pay per view, Backlash, the blue brand would look to repeat the same at No Mercy. The No Mercy card is already stacked with great matches and looks like two more matches will be added to the card.
Nikki Bella and Carmella have been consumed in a raging feud since the former longest reigning Divas Champion returned from her injury. Nikki was instantly attacked by NXT call up Carmella. Carmella has been a prominent face in NXT where she was managing Enzo and her boyfriend Big Cass. Carmella took the opportunity to make her name in the main roster at Nikki Bella’s expense. Carmella not only attacked Nikki the day she came back but has since also blindsided Nikki on a weekly basis with ruthless attacks. The two have been in heated discussions so often that things quickly got out of hand a few weeks ago on Talking Smack.

It is now being rumored that Nikki Bella and Carmella will now face off against each other in a no DQ ,match at No Mercy. It is very rare to see a no DQ match in the women’s division, so the match will be an exciting affair. Carmella and Nikki Bella are two great performers and are sure to take it up a notch in the pay per view.
While on the other hand, Jack Swagger has made his presence felt in SmackDown and is most likely to face Baron Corbin at No Mercy.
Swagger lost a match to Jinder Mahal on RAW a few weeks ago. When asked about his contract status, Swagger didn’t reply and fumed away. The next night, ‘The Real American’ showed up on SmackDown Live and got in Baron Corbin’s face. He then announced that he was a part of the SmackDown roster. It is a good thing that WWE are trying to give Swagger some sort of a push and a little TV time. Even if it doesn’t work, it still makes sense for them to give him an opportunity. At least it’s better than languishing at the bottom of the roster in RAW.
