A lot of NXT superstars are gunning for the Undisputed ERA right now
Adam Cole took on Sean Maluta from the Cruiserweight Classic at the top of the show. It was a by the numbers match and Maluta never really had a chance to defeat the North American Champion. Adam Cole comprehensively won the match with the Last Shot. But then Ricochet would come out and stake his claim for the NXT North American Championship.
Cole would refuse to offer Ricochet a title shot for the North American Championship and try to make a hasty exit to the back. He would be joined by his friends from the Undisputed ERA, stepping out to bolster the ranks. But then, Ricochet would find friends of his own, in the War Raiders, stepping out to seemingly challenge for the NXT Tag Team Titles.
As The Undisputed ERA tried to make their escape from the crowd, Moustache Mountain would show up and try to take out the heels. Looks like The Undisputed ERA has nowhere to run and will be forced to defend their titles when TakeOver comes around.
