Tommaso Ciampa and Aleister Black had a fantastic match. I daresay this match was better than most matches Black has had at recent TakeOver events. From grappling to striking to mind games, both men enthralled me during a match that went very long.

Ciampa peeled away the mat at one point and the ref took a bump to the floor. Black hit the Black Mass, but the referee had been knocked out. In a way, this protected the champion, even in defeat.

When Ciampa managed to win the championship, the reaction was one of utter dismay. At a time when we know wrestling is scripted, it is amazing how Ciampa can make us suspend our disbelief for good.
