#1 Tommaso Ciampa is not finished with Johnny Gargano

Aleister Black granted Gargano a title shot - but it wasn't quite so simple

Well, after their five-star match at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, you could be forgiven for thinking Johnny Gargano had finally put an end to his long-term rivalry with former DIY partner Tommaso Ciampa - but when Gargano was making his way to the ring for his NXT Championship match against Aleister Black, we soon realised Blackheart had other ideas...

Ciampa attacked Johnny Gargano on the stage and made it clear he's not taking his loss lying down, and he's not finished with Johnny Wrestling by any means.

We saw the pair brawl before Ciampa landed a vital shot in the form of a kick to Gargano's nether regions, before putting Gargano through two tables.

Candice LaRae came to check on her husband before Johnny Wrestling was stretchered to the back and into an ambulance.

Aleister Black called out Ciampa, but it looks like his sights are firmly set on Gargano. Black instead faced Eric Young and successfully defended his title in what looks to be SAnitY's farewell - but the real story here was the continuation of a feud between Ciampa and Gargano.

It looks like Ciampa won't let Gargano move on from the rivalry as he seeks to ruin Gargano's career.
