2017 ended with an absolutely smashing episode of NXT

#3 Black is undefeated no more

Cole vs. Black is far from done — Cole vs Black is far from done

It is interesting to note that Aleister Black took the pinfall in this big match. Prior to this, he was on an undefeated streak. We do not mind that he did, quite honestly. This is because his loss leads to a pretty interesting program, that seems to be brewing right now.

The Undisputed ERA cost Black an opportunity to become the Number 1 contender and go on to face Andrade 'Cien' Almas. Black almost had the match won, as he delivered the Black Mass to Lars Sullivan. The pinfall was then broken by the heel stable.

Are we going to see Black and Cole take each other to the limit yet again? Could they steal the show at the next NXT Takeover event?

Considering how protected both men are, it'll be interesting to see who takes the pin, in that match.
