Street Profits vs The Mighty
This match has been on NXT so many times that the NXT Universe has reached the point where they could probably book it themselves, but after weeks of being mocked by The Australian Duo, The Street Profits were ready for revenge.
Angelo Dawkins and Shane Thorne started the matchup but Dawkins was all over the smaller guy and used the strength and size advantage to throw The Mighty around the ring. Nick Miller was able to get the upperhand after he was tagged in but Dawkins took the momentum back with a Flapjack.
Montez Ford came into the ring like a house on fire and after a number of back and forths with The Street Profits, he delivered a suicide dive to the outside to take out both men. The Profits looked as though they were being given quite the push with this match on NXT since they were all over their Australian opponents throughout.
Dawkins received the hot tag and cleaned house before delivering a right hand to Thorne but Miller split up the count in order to keep his team in play.
Miller delivered a powerbomb suplex in the corner but this time it was Dawkins that broke up the three and delivered a spinebuster for a near fall if his own. Ford went for a springboard Frogsplash on Shane Thorne for the win which pushes The Street Profits closer to a shot at those NXT Tag Team Championships.
Following the match, Cathy Kelley spoke to William Regal backstage and he confirmed that Tommaso Ciampa will defend his Championship against Velveteen Dream at TakeOver: WarGames. He was then approached by Black who wanted Gargano, but instead of getting him tonight, Regal gave him a match against Rebel Heart at WarGames.
Lars Sullivan was spotted losing his temper backstage and he stated that he should be in that NXT Championship match so he was coming for Velveteen Dream.
