#4. EC-III vs Velveteen Dream
Velveteen Dream has been one of the best things on NXT TV over the past year. Former Tough Enough participant, Patrick Clark was given this gimmick and he nailed it. The Dream, as he calls himself, is one of the most charismatic superstars on the roster even garnering praise from the likes of John Cena. Given the stature of their feud, this match should be the perfect bridge to go from the rest of the show into the bombastic main event.
Over the past few episodes of NXT, Dream and EC3 has build up their rivalry via backstage skits and promos. A match between them was finally made official by William Regal. By the looks of things, this match will be a casual, light-hearted affair. But given the talent these two have, it will be great nonetheless. The fact that both these guys are heels might affect the match although Velveteen gets more cheered than your average main roster baby-face.
This match exists solely to give Velveteen a victory if you ask me. His natural charisma is so high, that within a year of his debut he has become so over with the NXT Universe, that back to back big match losses to Aleister Black and Ricochet didn't hurt his credibility one bit. But still, Triple H will be looking to give a victory back to The Dream and that is where EC3 comes in.
EC3 hasn't done anything significant since joining NXT and management seems to be waiting before pushing the former Impact Champion.
